Ronald Burkey has written an outstanding emulator of the Apollo
Guidance Computer (this makes the geekmeter go off-scale):

The emulator is able to run the actual software used with the Apollo
command and lunar modules.  Ronald tells at his site about his Indiana
Jones-like experience in the quest for AGC documentation and software:

Since the AGC was developed at MIT, his tips might be of some use also
