I believe Emannuel asked about changebars, and whether they were part
of the LaTeX distro.  I was just reading the documentation for
fancyvrb (in the latest release of teTeX) and it makes heavy use of
changebars.  They appear to be pretty common.  So I think when we
start adding content other than footnotes we'll use them.

For now all the additions I'm making are in the form of footnotes.
These are *not* additions to the text, they are just annotations
regarding how we see things from E3's perspective.  Next commit of
SSDN2 stuff will include them for your viewing pleasure.
