[LispM-Hackers] Conversion program for manuals

Does anyone have a program to convert the VISIDOC manuals into
something readable? These manuals *heavily* utilize font escapes,
hence are filled to the brim with ^Fs. I could write a program to
strip out all of these ^Fs but I was curious to know if anyone had
done so already.

Also, I'm thinking of maybe writing a little program to convert the
VISIDOC files into maybe HTML or TeX. This would require some study
of exactly what font shifts are used for what purposes, so the
meanings of the fonts could be encoded instead as various tags.

All this resulted from trying to read the LispRef for Chapter 22 on
macrocode. It's just plain hard to read with all the font shifts, but
there's some important information contained within there...
