I haven't checked to see if there's an endianness problem yet,
though.  I didn't edit *anything* after I checked out the sources.  I
just made and went.  The output looks okay (symbols where I expect to
see symbols, fixnums where fixnums should be) so I'm guessing that
it's working even though the PPC is big endian.  Otherwise the types
should be wrong, neh?

Duh.  BeOS people can fend for themselves.  As can the Amigoids...

We still haven't investigated how graphics are going to work.  It
looks to me like it'd be easy enough on MacOS X to either require the
user to have XFree86 installed (which took me five minutes to do, no
compiles).  Later effort could port to Quartz (ie, Display PDF).  But
we're not there yet so it doesn't matter.  And won't until we get the
TV miscops working.
