   Thanks for the pointer, I found the directory.  Sadly, it contains only
   Explorer specific manuals, no Microexplorer stuff as far as I can see.  Even a
   short description how the fonts are supposed to be installed would be helpful,
   as the machine seems to run stable apart from the font problem now.

I have some microExplorer installation documentation in hard copy
format, although I am not comfortable letting it out of my possession.
I can answer specific questions after the Labor Day holiday (this
coming Monday, when I return home) if nothing turns up sooner.

However, installing a microExplorer, especially on a machine which is
running System 6 and isn't an early rev Mac II is quite easy.
Basically, you just install the hardware, run the software, and go.
