No.  There's some physical space, but it doesn't have video memory
backing it.  A pity, as I rather liked the various "margin beep" hacks
that people did on 3600s -- a visible beep that flashed only the part
*around* the window.

I can't remember if the main window was 1024x768, but you wouldn't want
to lose the who-line and mouse-doc line anyway, so just consider it
1024x808.
